About Us

Mission: The Saints’ Center for Service helps to fulfill Marymount’s commitment of “Service to Others” by facilitating collaboration between people, organizations, and communities; and providing programs and resources that empower Marymount students and the broader university community to educate and activate towards a more just and equitable world.

Vision: Our Marymount community will prioritize working within and understanding community in a lifelong commitment to service. 

Focus Areas: The Saints’ Center for Service is here to support our university and broader communities to promote positive, community-driven social change. We align ourselves with the values of our founders – the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary – whose mission is to “place ourselves and our resources at the service of those who are most in need of justice, especially women and children, enabling the powerless, the deprived, the marginalized, the voiceless to work effectively for their own development and liberation”.
